Feeling It

Back in the day. When I was passionate about performing. I'm in my twenties here... which seems like a lifetime ago. Pretty sure I was singing my signature song: Bette Midler's version of When a Man Loves a Woman. Used to fall to my knees a lot on that one--so dramatic. On the really good nights, I'd wake the next day with bruised knees.

Our Brother Bob

This is our only brother Bob. We call him Bobby. I used to just call him rotten! What a guy! Dealing with six sisters could not have been easy. I don't know how he has kept his sanity. We love you, Bobby!

Grandpa and a Big Freakin' Mushroom

Since we introduced our crazy grandma in the previous post, figured we include a pic of her first husband, our Mom's dad, Grandpa Weist. I don't remember him well, just that he had bright red hair (which accounts for Brenda's red hair). He died when I was very young, long before Barb was born. I do know that he was into mushroom hunting. The kind you pick out of the woods, fry up, and eat. Yum. Gotta love that he once found a 'shroom impressive enough to make the newspaper. He looks so proud!

Creative (Crazy) Sisters

Our grandma, Rozella (left) and her sister, Opal (right). I'm not sure which is zanier. That they made those hats or that they actually wore them. Clearly, we inherited our creative crazy genes from them. Fitting that we should christen our SIS Scrapbook with them, don't you think?
