Creative (Crazy) Sisters

Our grandma, Rozella (left) and her sister, Opal (right). I'm not sure which is zanier. That they made those hats or that they actually wore them. Clearly, we inherited our creative crazy genes from them. Fitting that we should christen our SIS Scrapbook with them, don't you think?

  1. That's Great!! Now I know where we get our crazy ideas from. I remember Aunt Opal always having gum drops. Do they even see those anymore???
I attended a Kentucky Derby party this year and 4 of us ladies came up with our own hats. It was so much fun and this picture reminded me of that!

  3. Gum Drops. I think you can still get them at a movie concession stand, but they'll cost you ten bucks!

When I think of Grandma, I think of walnuts. She always had a supply in a bowl. The whole ones with the shell. I got pretty good with a nutcracker. She also salted her beer. Zany.

Hey, you made a hat, Barb? Pics, please!
